How We Do It

Have you ever wondered what the process of refurbishing a John Deere 6030 looks like? Well, look no further. We are offering a look behind the curtains (our shop doors) to see the process step by step.

Tractor is purchased from our inventory and the creative decisions begin.

Tractor is taken for test drive and everything gets inspected.

Cab is taken off and metamorphosis begins.

Steering cylinders are repacked.

Piece by piece the sandblasting begins.

Tractor is prepped for sandblasting and wheels are fully extended.

Tractor is completely stripped down.

Tractor is completely stripped down.

PTO seal is replaced along with new filters and fluids.

Sandblasting continues on complete chasis.

Tractor back in the paint shop to finish the stripping and cleaning by hand.

Platform pieces get prepped and polished.

Fuel tank is checked and painted separately.

Tie rods taken off and front spindles and hubs checked.

Stripping and masking.

Exhaust manifold off, polish frame rails and final preparations for priming.

Prepped for priming.

Weights and parts are polished.

Fenders sandblasted and body work begins.

Body work continues piece by piece.

Dust shield primed.

Hood gets complete make over.

Tractor is primed then painted with PPG automotive paint.

Tractor back in shop for reassembly.

Exhaust manifold and turbo charger painted separately and mounted with stainless steel bolts.

Old wheels ready to come off.

New wheels are on.

All brand new john deere grade 8 gold bolts.

Intercooler, rebuilt starter, alternator, new belts and all new hoses with stainless steel hose clamps installed.

Fenders ready for mounting.

Axles painted before wheels are moved in.

New fuel and crank case, filters installed with new fuel and oil.

New batteries and new gauges installed.

All new John Deere lights and wiring.

Polished weights mounted with new gold bolts..

Radiator pressure checked and painted, new fuel lines installed.

New seat and steering wheel, new tie rod boots installed.

All new gold grease zerks throughout tractor

Quick hitch painted and mounted.

New muffler, new front and side screens, new decals and all finishing touches.
